Welcome to NEEtegendeBTW.nl (NO to VAT)!

This website features a petition againt the increase of VAT on the import of oldtimers and other antique goods. Do you support this cause? Sign the petition now by filling out the form below!

Background

On december 21st, 2010, the Dutch First Board has agreed to the Tax Reform Plans 2011 and the new legislation Other Financial Measures 2011. These new regulations include the increase of the VAT percentage on the import of art objects and antiquities, which also effects the import of oldtimers (vehicles older than 30 years).

Purpose

The goal of this petition is to try to reinstate the original low VAT rate for the import of art, antique goods and oldtimers. If we receive enough 'signatures' and support, we will offer this petition to all parties that could make a difference: the Ministry of Finance, political parties and other useful representatives.

Initiator

The initiator of this action is SCL Rotterdam (visit our website), a worldwide shipper of oldtimers and other vehicles and goods. SCL utilizes this petition to make a stand on behalf of all customers who have been wrongly disadvantaged by this sudden government decision. We sincerely hope that others too will support this action to create a better and stronger foundation for this protest. We welcome everyone to join and sign this petition: buyers, companies, oldtimer or antique collectors, etc.
